Varick Rosete

Sandpaper Studio was looking for a fresh illustration design to benefit their client, Kite Realty Group, during the 2019 International Council of Shopping Centers RECon global convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to that, they were looking for the illustration to be performed live on the convention floor as a mural, on clear plexiglass, for attendees to experience. They were looking for a modern contemporary design that had lots of rhythm and balance, and conveyed community and collaboration with a diverse group of people connecting and being active together. The mural was a hit, stopping convention-goers as they watched the progress of the mural from its inception to its completion.
